Ok here is a version of the last photo that has been saved with sRGB color space management instead of regular RGB. What a difference. I've been adjusting my photo's color saturation up to try to cope with this problem, without much luck! Check out this link to an article from Nature Photographers Online Magazine that I found very helpful and that explains color management for posting photos to the web.
